- Initial contract until January 2026
- Role based in Farnborough, Hampshire
We are looking for an experienced Administrator who speaks fluent German to join a global Construction and Engineering company based in Farnborough. Our client has fantastic offices with great facilities including free parking, Costa Coffee on-site, lovely subsidised restaurant and an all-round healthy and positive working environment.
This role can be offered full-time or part-time. Working full-time will be a 9 day fortnight; you will work Monday to Friday one week and complete 44 hours and every alternate week you will work 36 hours and work Monday to Thursday meaning you have every alternate Friday off. BUT we are also open to candidates who would prefer to work part-time working school hours of 10am - 2pm Monday to Friday - we are very open to either.
The role is working fully on-site paying up to £25 per hour
We are looking for an experienced and successful Administrator with fluent German language skills who is confident and able to work within a busy team and support on some on-going long-term Projects until at least the beginning of 2026.
Duties include:
- Translating emails from German into English
- Translating emails from English into German
- Calling subcontractors in Germany to query details submitted on various documents - all verbal communication will be in German and you will translate for the English Team
- General Administration duties which will include the translation of German
Skills and experience required:
- Written and spoken German language to fluent level / CEFR Level C2
- Strong experience working in an administrator capacity
- Excellent communication skills
- A team player with a positive attitude
- If you have previously worked within construction or oil & gas this will be a benefit but not essential, we are open to all industries
