Key Responsibilities

  • Audit and Assurance Services: Lead the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services to a diverse portfolio, including listed and internationally active businesses, ensuring compliance with UK and international standards.
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring the highest level of service and identifying opportunities for value-added support.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop audit teams, including mentoring, counselling, and actively participating in recruitment processes to build a strong and dynamic team.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Ensure all engagements adhere to UK GAAP, IFRS, UK and International GAAS, and other financial reporting requirements.
  • Business Development: Leverage industry knowledge to identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the firm's reach and contributing to its growth.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Deliver clear, precise reports and insights to stakeholders, addressing key issues and contributing to long-term, sustainable value.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, ICAS, or an overseas equivalent is essential.
  • Experience: Extensive background in audit and assurance services, with a proven track record of delivering for major companies, including those listed on public exchanges and those operating internationally.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, UK and International GAAS, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience managing and developing audit teams, with the ability to mentor, counsel, and drive recruitment efforts.
  • Business Acumen: Strong aptitude for identifying and pursuing business development opportunities to fuel growth.
