The visionaries behind the Auxo Group

Back to Blogs

As we embark on an exciting new chapter as the Auxo Group in 2024, we're proud to introduce the exceptional leaders steering our course towards strategic innovation and growth in the global talent solutions landscape.

Charting a course for growth

At the helm of the Auxo Group is CEO Ford Garrard, a seasoned industry veteran with a proven track record of reshaping the technical staffing landscape. Ford's experience includes serving as CEO at Visuna, a global recruitment specialist in the energy and technology sectors, where he successfully implemented a rebranding strategy that helped to transform the organisation. He has also made significant impacts in executive roles at industry giants such as Airswift and NES Fircroft.

"Being part of this exceptional group of companies is an honour and I am eagerly looking forward to the journey ahead. My focus is steadfast on the future of the group, forging ahead with innovative strategies to drive substantial growth in the years to come," states Ford.

Since joining Auxo Group in 2023, Ford has made substantial strides by enhancing our Contingent Workforce Solutions through Managed Service Programmes and empowering our global sales teams to explore new business opportunities. He has also focused on learning and development initiatives to create a more robust sales culture and has undertaken strategic senior management restructuring to facilitate exponential expansion and growth.

Shaping Auxo's strategic vision

Supporting Ford and the vision for the Auxo Group is a team of experienced executives, each bringing their own unique strengths to the business. Chairman Ian Langley, with his extensive background in globally recognised talent and energy businesses, has been instrumental in shaping our board and steering our strategic direction since last year. Ian's impressive career includes founding industry giant Airswift and occupying key roles at the EPI Group, Boston Energy and Berry, which later merged with Buzzhire. His wealth of experience continues to guide Auxo's strategic vision.

Adding fiscal fuel to the fire

Chief Financial Officer Jonathan Scott brings a wealth of financial management and strategic leadership experience, crucial for guiding our company towards continued success. Jonathan's background includes serving as CFO and later CEO of National Car Parks, as well as a career at Ernst & Young. His proven skills in driving financial excellence and implementing effective strategies are instrumental in guiding Auxo Group towards success and growth in the competitive talent solutions market.

Igniting revenue growth across sectors

Our executive team is further strengthened by Group Chief Revenue Officer Hollie Murtagh, who focuses on cultivating a robust and rewarding sales culture throughout the organisation. Hollie's role involves aligning sales efforts with strategic objectives to drive sustainable growth across all brands and departments. As the Managing Director of Simply Education and the Education Sector Chair of the Recruitment and Employment Federation (REC), Hollie brings invaluable insights to our organisation. Her accolades include winning Businesswoman of the Year at the 2022 SME National Business Awards, a further testament to her leadership capabilities.

Amplifying Auxo's global presence

Rounding out the leadership team is Group Chief Growth Officer Ash Higgs, whose esteemed background in marketing for premier brands drives the Auxo Group's growth through innovative marketing strategies. Ash's experience includes working with global brands such as Coca-Cola, Nando's, and Nike, honing his skills as a digital and experiential marketer. Ash wields an arsenal of skills as CGO as well as Managing Director of our healthcare division. His business acumen has been recognised with prestigious awards, including a national SME Award for Business Innovation and a Director of the Year Award from the Institute of Directors.
